4 Hour Body

I'm currently reading the 4 Hour Body by Tim Ferriss. Tim writes about many things to improve fitness, weight gain, weight loss, sleep, sex and many more. What interests me the most is weight gain. Tim claims that if you follow his methods exactly you can gain over 30lbs of lean muscle in 28 days!

I was recently called to see how much weight I could gain in 1 or 2 months for a possible job next year. That got me thinking of an old goal I had in college of trying to break 200lbs. I'm 6'1" and stay between 175lbs and 180lbs naturally. I would have to gain 25lbs to break 200lbs. And I wouldn't want it to just be all 25 fatty lbs. Time to get beefy!

Documenting my food intake will be part of the process. I just set up mobile blogging from my phone so I can snap photos of all the meals I eat during this "experiment" and post them instantly. Let the madness begin!

  1. I had a dream two nights ago that I was on the phone with you. You were providing me motivation to do what I want in life. Then, yesterday... my girlfriend dumped me. My emotions are battling each other, and I feel like my old attacks of motivating myself and depression will come back. Got any advice? I just want to come out on top, start doing parkour, get connected... go outside. Life and college, my youth is slipping away. I don't want regrets.

A dreamer. (I've dreamed of jumping around, almost flying, rolling, etc. I love those dreams.)

    P.S. Goodmorning

  2. I also heard you're friends with Daniel Arroyo. Very motivational guy, with his own set of life problems, I can look up to him too. I had a chance to meet him because he practiced at USF, and I happen to go there. All these influences, and yet I'm having trouble getting started.
